First off, happy 2017! As I already shared a couple weeks ago and last night on Instagram Live, I am kicking off this new year the right way by participating in the Tone It Up challenge with my girls, Karena & Katrina. TBH, I would be lying if I told you that I wasn’t struggling a bit getting into the swing of things after the holidays. So, the babes at Tone It Up gave me a recipe and a work out to get me motivated and I know it’ll help motivate ya’ll too. 2017, let’s do this!
Perfect Fit Peppermint Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients:
1 scoop chocolate Perfect Fit Protein
1/2 Tbsp. almond milk
1 tsp cacao powder
1/2 banana
1/4 cup egg whites
3 drops peppermint extract
1 Tbsp. chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. crushed candy cane
Directions: Combine all ingredients together in a medium bowl, stir together until fully incorporated. Spray pan with coconut oil. Cook on medium-low heat on one side for 2-3 minutes. Flip carefully until cooked all of the way through. Top with crushed candy canes.
Now for the work out…trust me you’ll love this one. Katrina made this specifically for #BachNation. LOL, right?
