Hey Y’all!
I’ve been wanting to share some of my current favorite makeup products, however, I wanted to do so by putting a fun twist on my traditional makeup routine. I invited my friend Marla, who also happens to be a professional makeup artist over and we attempted the Blindfold Makeover Challenge! Checkout the YouTube video we made to see how the challenge turned out!
Marla is always giving me the best tips and tricks to getting the smoothest finish! One of my favorite looks right now is the no-makeup makeup look. Beauty glowing from within formed from a smooth, light-weight foundation, and liquid highlight. Here are some of my favorite products to get this look:
Professional Pore Primer: Use a dime size amount and rub in circular motions wherever you have the most pores! For me, it’s around my T zone and a little on my nose!
Mac Strobe Cream: I love to use this where the light would naturally catch my face, such as on the high points of the cheekbones, cupid’s bow and down the center of my nose.
Koh Ge Do Foundation: I love to use this with a damp beauty blender and pat gently in circular motions all over my face.
Boi-ing Cake-less Concealer: I always do 3 dots under each eye, and a little on my chin and then blend with a damp beauty blender
Anastasia Brow Wiz:I like to pencil this in on both eyebrows in hair-like strokes very lightly to give myself a more natural eyebrow look. Then I use the dual end of the brush to blend the strokes in seamlessly.
Benefit Brow Setter: I use this to set my eyebrows into place so these babies aren’t going anywhere! This brow setter really just locks everything into place.
Hoola Bronzer: With a fluffy brush I blend the Benefit Hoola bronzer into my cheekbones, temples, and jawline to create a sun-kissed look.
Nudestix: I dab this on to the center of my lips to create a gradient effect mixed with the darker plum lipliner
Roller Lash: This mascara is one of my favorites! You really don’t even need an eyelash curler with this one because it will give y’all the most lifted and super-curled lashes ever!
Plum Lip Liner: This plum liner really just gives me that “your lips but better” look! I like to over line slightly to give myself a little more volume so I have that perfect, natural pout!
