This one goes out to all of my beach babes and fellow bikini lovers. I wanted to share my favorite swimwear trends from Summer ‘17! This season, so many designers came out with new styles and prints that I could not wait to get my hands on. Check out my top four trends, courtesy of some of my favorite swimwear brands, L*SPACE, lolli swim, and Beach Riot!
High-Waisted Bottoms – I can’t get enough of this retro fit! The high waist is so comfortable and especially flattering for those days when I’m feeling a tad bit on the bloated side… (Thanks, McDonalds!). Thank god for this style, I instantly feel more confident in this style of swimwear!
Flouncy Bandeaus – Bandeaus are my go-to for avoiding those annoying summer tan lines. The key is finding a top with enough support, but just enough flounce when you bounce.
Cutouts – I can’t get enough of cutouts this summer! I love the element of sexiness, yet subtleness with each strategically placed slit. It’s a playful and sexy trend that still leaves a little to the imagination.
High-Rise One-Pieces – When I am looking for some extra coverage, I turn to my trusty one-piece! This was definitely the summer of the one-piece suit, with so many being featured in the major swimwear lines. Not to mention, the high-rise cut, a throwback to the 1980s, adds a bit of flirtation to the look.
