Hey Y’all,
WOW! What an exciting weekend! If you didn’t know, this weekend Tanya and I attended the People’s Choice Awards, where we were nominated for “Best Pop Podcast” for the second year in a row! It was so much fun to see Tanya reporting for E! on the red carpet, and we both absolutely fan-girled over Jennifer Aniston’s speech!
It was such an honor to be nominated with so many other amazing females, and some of our great friends, in this category. We sat at the edge of our seats awaiting the results, and to our humble surprise, we won for the second year in a row!!
All I can say is wow! You guys are incredible! Win or lose we are so lucky to be doing what we love every day. However, we are so grateful for this amazing acknowledgment. We have the most loyal, amazing, generous, kind, and BEST listeners in the world! This is all you. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we are so excited to take home this award again!
On top of that, I am so excited to announce that Scrubbing In is going on a two stop tour to Los Angeles and San Francisco this February! Make sure to get your tickets! We can’t wait to meet you.
From the timid young girl from Louisiana, to establishing a career pathway for myself and winning a People’s Choice Award (like what!?)– I just want to say first handed that hard work never, ever, ever lets you down. Never in a million years did I think I would be where I am now in life, and I truly owe that all to grit, patience, and you.
